CHRIS campkin
Based in Cornwall, Chris works on all of The Open Ocean Groups projects, having gained an intricate understanding and knowledge of the group's archival resource and the technology to use it, over the past 10 years.
Chris will direct the Ocean Surface Centre (OSC), once open, utilising experience from producing and leading technology driven exhibits, to make the OSC a one of a kind digital edu-tainment venue.
Chris has lead both creative and technical members of staff to create award winning VR pieces shown in festivals worldwide and has worked on concept pieces for future interactive installations.
A pioneer in the Virtual Reality world for both 3D 360 narrative and interactive room-scale VR. As creative lead for Vision3 he has shot and directed pieces that have featured in Tribeca Film Festival for three consecutive years and worked with brands such as Landrover, Sir Paul McCartney, Conservation International, Manchester City Football Club and Hellman's.
